David LeDoux was a late 20th-century modern abstract painter. During a career spanning over 60 years, he made hundreds of paintings. David and his wife Pat moved to Woodbury, Tennessee, in 1987.  He set up a studio in their home and made a body of work consisting of four series: the black period (1985-1990); the red period (1990-1995); the violet/purple period (1995-2000); and ending with the blue period (2000-2004).  Prior to 1985, David made a large number of paintings dating from the 1930s to the large vibrant paintings known as the Fox Hollow Paintings in the 1970s.

Three hundred of the oil on canvas or acrylic on canvas paintings, varying in size from 22x32 inches  to 66x80 inches, are available for exhibit or for purchase. Seven hundred of the oil on paper paintings, predominantly 22x32 inches in size, are available as well.
